Grooming Update: 2/24/18

What a week! Another 2-3" overnight. New classic track was set this morning on all trails, skate lanes are also groomed and setting up well. The skiing is fantastic right now! Enjoy the weekend!

Grooming Update: 2/23/18

Our trails picked up another 2-3" last night. Groomers groomed skate lanes this morning and left the classic track from Wednesday to be skied in. Another system is moving in this afternoon and tonight, so we'll most likely be rolling again tomorrow morning. We will reset classic and skate as soon as the weather clears! Enjoy the weekend!

Grooming Update: 2/22/18

Groomers freshened up skate lanes this morning and the classic track from yesterday is still skiing great! The snow was just starting to fall again, when we left around 11am. These small storms and cold temps are great for the Gulch, enjoy!

Grooming Update: 2/21/18

Wowza, its good out there! Between last night and this morning, groomers have rolled and groomed all trails. Beautiful new classic track is set everywhere, except the Roundabout hill, and skate lanes are groomed and skiing excellently. The cold temps and lots of new snow are making for a great week at the Gulch! Don't forget to renew your skier membership for the season! We count on our amazing community's support to keep our trail system operating. Enjoy your ski!!

Grooming Update: 2/20/18

Groomers have rolled in a total of 8" in the past 24 hours and it was still snowing when we left this morning! Most trails have a solid, packed base. Perry Pass, Rodeo, Roundabout hill, and Big Dipper are still a little thin and bumpy. We will set classic track and groom skate lanes once the storm system clears up. It looks like its shaping up to be a snowy week!

Grooming Update: 2/16/18

Wow, what a stellar week for the Gulch! Just like that, we're back in business! This morning, groomers rolled in another 2-3" from last night. Today's cold temps allowed us to set some beautiful new classic track and the skate lanes are also skiing great. We'll be back to freshen the trails up for the weekend. Enjoy this gorgeous winter day! Classic is set on Criss Cross, Bulldogger, Little Dipper, Holdens, Ginny, Finlandia, and Out and Back. We still recommend avoiding Perry Pass, Rodeo, and Big Dipper.

Another 2-3" overnight! Groomers rolled all trails this morning and it was still snowing when we left. The base is packed, but very soft. We'll set new classic track and groom skate lanes as the weather allows over the next few days. Most trails are good to go, but we recommend still avoiding Perry, Rodeo, and Big Dipper. Enjoy!

Tuesday morning, the following trails were groomed for classic and skate: Chris Cross, Bulldogger, Upper and Lower Holden’s, Ginny Lane, North Star, Finlandia, Out & Back. We still recommend avoiding Rodeo, Perry Pass, Big Dipper, and the hill on Roundabout. Enjoy!!!

Grooming Update: 2/13/18

Wow! What a storm! Groomers rolled in 4-10” of fresh snow throughout the day yesterday on all of our trails. Some trails are still a bit rough, but overall this is the best coverage we’ve had all season! We’ll be up over the next few days grooming skate and hopefully setting some classic track! Looks like winter finally showed up!

Grooming Update: 2/11/18

Yesterday’s storm brought our trails a nice little 4 inch refresh! Last night, groomers rolled Criss Cross, Bulldogger, Little Dipper, Holden’s, North Star, Finlandia, Out & Back, Sidewinder, High Ball, Upper Holden’s, Wagon Road, Rabbit Run, and Ginny Lane. As usual, bottom trails are still thin and rough, but our upper trails are skiing great!

Grooming Update: 2/6/18

Woohoo! 1-3” of new snow this morning! Groomers rolled and packed the main trails- Bulldogger, Little Dipper, Holden’s, Northstar, Ginny, Finlandia, Wagon, Out and Back. Many of the lower trails are still tricky to get through, but the skiing up high is much better. Enjoy this little refresh!

Groomers just finished grooming the course for Ski For Sisu 2018! Whether you are up for an adventurous "spring conditions" ski or you'd rather just come for good food and company, join us tomorrow morning at 9am at the base of Spring Gulch for our annual fundraiser! We'll have food, drink, fire, SG swag, and tons of sweet gear in our Silent Auction. Even in a low snow year, we rely heavily on this fundraiser to keep us operating! Due to the unrelenting warm and dry weather, we are limited to a single course this year, starting at the intersection of Bulldogger and Criss Cross (SEE MAP). The course will head up (RED) Bulldogger to Holdens and Northstar, then hang a right onto Finlandia. We a
