Saturday Ski
The groomers groomed skate lanes on all trails last night. Be aware of icy conditions on south facing hills in particular. Warm temperatures, sun, and snowplowing have made Ginny Lane into a solid sheet of ice on the steep hill, and there are other similar patches. Little can be done to restore classic track until we get more snow.
Warming temps
The groomers set classic track on select trails last night to replace some beat up sections. Temperatures are forecast to climb the next few days before the next snow event Sunday and Monday.
Thursday ski report
The groomers cleaned up skate lanes on all trails last night. Classic track was reset in a few places. It looks like a warm weekend with more snow forecast for Sunday into Monday. Enjoy!!
Calm and Cold
Groomers were back up this morning and finished cleaning up the trails that were too windblown yesterday. Groomers will also be removing a tree from upper North Star this morning, so be extra careful on that trail.
Windy with a chance of snow drifts
The groomers were able to set classic track and groom skate lanes on most trails today. Please note that there is an Aspen tree down across the entire trail on the top right hand side of North Star (when descending).The groomers skipped Lazy 8 and Rafter T due to the continuing wind event. They also had to skip Big Dipper, Upper Holden's, Rodeo, and Little Dipper hill because of the combination of an icy base and snow build up on the grooming equipment. Other than that, it wa
