Spring Conditions Continue

Groomers were out again last night and hit skate lanes almost everywhere. Conditions continue to be icy in the mornings and softer in the afternoons, so please plan accordingly.

Why We Can't Groom Classic Track Now: High temperatures and increased hours of sun as we approach the spring equinox both make the packed base melt during the day. As night falls, this extra liquid in the base turns to solid ice. The teeth on our grooming equipment are not always able to penetrate deep enough to reset classic track effectively. We are sometimes able to reset some in the late afternoon, but it will be icy by the next day. We love all our skiers and want to give everyone the best conditions possible as temperatures and weather allow. We will continue to update as we work, but please be aware that classic track will be touch and go the rest of the season.
