This annual tradition is our largest fundraiser of the year, and a true highlight of the season. Ski as many laps as you like, find a few sponsors, join the fun, and help support Spring Gulch!
A lot goes on behind the scenes to produce great ski trails and keep them free for our collective enjoyment. Costs include staff wages, equipment purchasing and maintenance, fuel, insurance, ongoing trail upkeep, and more.
Ski for Sisu helps keep the groomers groomin' and brings our community together to celebrate another season of skiing at Spring Gulch!

SKI | CELEBRATE | FUNDRAISE
Join us at the Thompson Trailhead to Ski for Sisu, an annual tradition and our biggest fundraiser of the year! Embrace the spirit of Sisu, go the distance, and give back to the trails you love at Spring Gulch.
Event Highlights:
Ski: Choose from our marked 3.5, 10, 12.5, or 15-kilometer courses and ski as many laps as you can! New this year: a 1k kids loop and games!
Celebrate: Head to the Thompson Trailhead after skiing for an après-ski feast! Enjoy Fatbelly Burgers (beef and veggie options), delicious sides, treats, and drinks.
Fundraise: Upon registering, you’ll receive a personal fundraising page to share with friends, family, and coworkers. Contributions are quick and easy through your link—no pledge collection needed after the event!
Details:
Entry Fee $50 adults, $20 youth, Under 10 is free! (Family pricing and $5 member discount is available). Price includes lunch and your choice of a MSNC buff or socks! (Two items max for family registration)
Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraiser, and the farthest distance skied in the adult and youth categories.
Shop our silent auction, full of local goods, outdoor clothing, and opportunities for a night out on the town.
All entry fees and pledges are tax deductible as the Mount Sopris Nordic Council operates Spring Gulch as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
